Sat 13/Sun 14 February

Well it is now Saturday 20th Feb, and I have at last woken up without a stiff neck and shoulders. I am finally destressed. (Don't read too much into that - I've had the best week but it has taken a few days to get rid of all the old stuff!)
We got to the airport in plenty of time on Saturday, and as soon as we were through security that was it - no turning back so we could relax. The flight was delayed by an hour (we still didn't care, and we still didn't get aggitated when we found out that the delay was due to lack of cabin crew. I'd bought Esayboarding plus (yes, I went to a great place loads cheaper by booking direct and flying easyjet)so we were first on the plane and could avoid the riot at the airport when they told passengers that not everyone was getting on the plane - they could only taken enough for the crew to cope with. Cheapscate Paul even said we'd be having speedyboarding if we ever went with easyjet again. We weren't even that bothered when the boy in front of us on the plane started puking.
The stress started (I must have been bad in a past life) when we landed. Two of our bags were fine, then the only one left on the luggage belt was the same make, style and colour as mine (yes MINE - all my stuff!) but was a size smaller and wasn't even full. The airport didn't think it was a problem and were sure it would be returned at some stage. I had forms upon forms to complete, then we eventually made it to the car hire desk, 2 hours later than expected. After a lot of looking though keys and papers we were given an upgrade to our booking. I strongly suspect that was because they'd given away our car as we were so late. We eventually found the hotel, which took longer than expected as a new road had been built since the last time we were here, and finally checked in at around 10.30pm. We hadn't eaten and everywhere was closing so at midnight we found ourselves in Mr Chicken, urgh. I like a nice beefburger and must have been feeling the strain as for a moment I thought Mr Chicken could deliver. M&S Aberdeen Angus it wasn't. It looked very dodgy and I ate the salad and a bit of bread. I think I'd still be attached to the toilet now if I'd had more.
Sunday morning, glorious sun. People were round the pool early. We had to go to the shop as the suncream was in the lost bag. On the bright side, I had my iphone charger and I'd found my Touche Eclat and Jo Malone, and a nightie. We got ready to explore in the sun - me in my jeans, converse and sweatshirt. Luck struck when we found an old vest among Harrison's things so although I looked erm, well like a Brit abroad without the union jack shorts. I at least felt the sun. I had make a list of what was missing and learned to ignore Paul laughing at me. I was all set to go for my nice valentine's meal in my chemise - OK nightie - even though my only footwear was converse sneakers. As we got ready we got a phone call. My bag had been found and delivered to the hotel. Hooray. I don't know who cheered most, me or P and H who had earache from me moaning! We went to a fish restaurant, where a mad woman gave Harrison brandy that he liked and hasn't stopped asking for since. At the hotel he's had a fruit cocktail and I'd had a brandy sour. He'd drunk half of mine before the waiter told us he'd got the glasses mixed up!
The day ended well, and I was able to moisturise and sleep better!
