It was too wet to run outside today, so I went to the gym. I was incredibly impressed with my 3.6kms in 30 minutes (that's 7.2km per hour you know, therefore 10.8 in 90 minutes!). It was the first proper try I've had since before my holidays, and I did half run, half walk. The elation lasted until I checked my times for before the holiday - 3.59kms in 30 minutes grrrr. Still, not too bad after a break, and that 0.01km extra shouldn't be frowned upon. I think Paul is working tomorrow so I won't be able to go then (as I'll have Harrison, not because I'm lazy), but I'll be there for my Sunday morning do as usual. As H goes to FitKids at 10am it makes sure that I also have an hour. The sponsorship is up to £225, and I'm touting for more followers (so pass it on). I don't mind no-one reading it but if they are listed as a follower I'll feel good. Appearances are everything.
I had a day off gym stuff yesterday. When I woke up I thought my shoulders had been broken, they ached so much after the massage. They have definately been a bit better though and by Easter I should have no tension at all, if that is possible living in our house. I did consider going to the gym at lunchtime. I wasn't very motivated and jumped at the chance of meeting Debbie for lunch to get over her traumatic morning. We had great fun watching all the infidelities going on in Pizza Express in Prestwich. Not much gets past us!
